Sunday People in a Monday World

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord…
it is the Lord Christ you are serving.    Colossians 3:22-24

You are invited to join us at Cambria Pines Lodge to build a stronger relationship with our God. Let’s grow together as friends and sisters in Christ.

Our Retreat is Friday evening-Sunday morning, April 19-21, 2013, at Cambria Pines Lodge Cambria, CA.

Carolyn Schoenborn will speak on the topic “Sunday People in a Monday World.” Carolyn deeply understands that our daily work (whether for compensation, or not) is meant to be meaningful ministry that co-partners with God in caring for the world, and in creatively participating to the fullest depths of life itself.

She will challenge all workers to Be the Church IN Today’s World by seeing all factions of their daily work as legitimate, God-given ministry!

Furthermore, Carolyn will discuss how being God’s presence in and through people’s daily work presents a uniquely expanded and exciting challenge to all congregational ministries called to minister to today’s workers. (Information courtesy of
