The Bible repeatedly uses “father,” “husband,” “bride” and “child” analogies to demonstrate God’s relationship with the church and his followers. There is no better example of the unconditional love God has for us than what we are instructed to have for our spouse and children. Building upon these themes, Love Worth Fighting For is a marriage event, featuring teaching by Kirk Cameron and music by Warren Barfield, designed to strengthen and encourage your marriage.

About Kirk Cameron
Kirk is best known for his memorable role of “Mike Seaver”, a cultural icon of the 80′s, with his mullet hairstyle, cool glasses, and wisecracking comebacks. More recently he enjoyed much success with the #1 grossing inspirational film of 2008, Fireproof, and his recent documentary, Monumental. His company, CAMfam Studios, has released his latest film, Unstoppable. His speaking tour, Love Worth Fighting For, is a marriage event held in churches and has been hosted in over 150 cities. Kirk and his wife, Chelsea, were on-screen sweethearts during Growing Pains years and are the founders of Camp Firefly, where terminally and seriously ill children and their families are provided an all-expense paid retreat ( Together, Kirk and Chelsea live in California with their six children.

About Warren Barfield
North Carolina-born singer/songwriter Warren Barfield is on a mission to make the truly important things important again in his life. Things like faith, love, marriage, children, truth, and with his songs, he challenges us all to do the same. Martin Luther King Jr. said, “If a man hasn’t discovered something that he will die for, he isn’t fit to live.” Warren has found those things in his faith, his wife, and his belief in love. “These are the things I would die for; things I will wake up every morning andspend my day fighting for.”

I Would love to go to this but I wouldn’t know how to ask my wife.the reason I don’t know how to ask her is because we r separated.we been separated for 4 months now going on 5.i told I’m not given up on my marriage even though she is with someone else.we been together for 18 years and have 5 beautiful kid’ I know this event will help us out or open her eyes and mine. So please write back so I know what to do or how to tell her let try this to see if we are really done. Thank you for reading it god bless you.

I’m sorry to hear of your marriage situation. I was in a similar situation about 10 years ago. What I would like to suggest is for you to pray to God and ask him for the strength to fight for your family and ask God to help you ask your wife. If her answer remains no, then perhaps you should go yourself. Perhaps this event will strengthen you in the path that God leads you.

If for any reason you bought tickets to the evening (sold out) show and are not able to make it, please contact me. My wife and I were really looking forward to going but I don’t get off work until 12 noon that day. Thanks and blessings to you.
