Families and individuals of all ages are invited to tour and enjoy the SCICON campus. The SCICON staff will be on hand to lead wildflower walks and nature hikes. There will be a wildflower display showing over 100 species of wildflowers. The SCICON museum of natural history, the planetarium, and observatory will be open all day. There will be wildlife shows in the SCICON Raptor Center. There will be special activities just for children such as building bird nesting boxes or meeting “Smokey the Bear.” Entertainment will be continuous throughout the day. There is no charge to attend the festival. Deep-pit BBQ lunches will be available for purchase. Lunch ticket prices are $10 for adults, and $5 for seniors and children. SCICON is located seven miles above Springville on Bear Creek Road.
